Kite surfing instructor training courses

Ocean Republic has been qualifying IKO Instructors since Jan 2003.
Separate courses in their own right but optionally packaged together in an idyllic setting gives our ITC’s a different flavour to the rest. The classroom is outside under the coconut palms which makes candidates instantly relax and allow for better attention to IKO guru trainer Neil (Yoda) Godbold. Neil has nearly 20 years as a teacher and as a power-kite addict on land, sea and snow. What he doesn’t know, he hasn’t written yet for the IKO. Credits include the Royal Naval Marines Polar Quest expedition that set the record for the longest military non-stop land journey ever kiting from the South Pole, being a former member of the UK kite buggy race team and author of the new IKO power kite scheme.
Dates for 2009 instructor course are now set. Trainer Robbie Anderson will be returning to Boracay for his 2nd season to take this course.

Our success is reflected by how many of Asia’s schools have sprouted as a direct result of Neil’s ITC’s (Instructor Training Courses) as well as schools in the UK and rest of Europe. You too could take your 1st step towards your own school or living the dream as a world travelling IKO instructor.
