Kite surf travel & insurance
Kitesurfing Holiday Insurance (what most don’t cover)
Most holiday insurances don’t cover you for kitesurfing. Due to the nature of the sport it’s advisable not to be left un-insured on your holiday if you planning a kite trip or lessons.
The Columbus Adventure Sports
Package covers kitesurfing, diving and most other active sports. Cover is Medical, 3rd party liability and full travel coverage options for Adventure and Extreme Sports. More >>

Transfer - Airports to Island
If you choose not to get a transfer; here’s what to do, (and have plenty of change).
- From Kalibo opt for between an Aircon van, sweaty Jeeppney or choice of Buses.
- From Caticlan grab a trike at the end of the road and follow the crowd.
- From Caticlan Jetty Port
- Buy your tickets for the boat and terminal fee and whatever other fee they can think of (all total less than 100peso).
- Porters will help you if you let them (10peso per bag) from your transport and onto the boat.
- They will ask for more if your bag is heavy.
- When on Boracay porters again will descend on you.
- Take either a trycle to your resort of choice or a small van to any destination along the main road.
- If you have no resort I’m sure someone will offer one to you.
